Recipes from the Traveling Market

Thank you to everyone who stopped by the Traveling Market yesterday! Everyone who stopped by my table for some samples and to talk about raw food was gracious, curious, and a pleasure to meet.  What a great bunch of people!

If you haven't had a chance to check it out, the pop-up shop is on until Sunday and has a wonderful selection of mens and women's wear, accessories and events.

Here are the recipes as promised!

coconut lemon balls Lemon Bliss Balls

  • 1 1/2 cups raw cashews
  • aprox. 10 medjool dates (or to desired consistency)
  • 1/2 cup shredded coconut
  • 1 tsp coconut oil
  • 2 lemons zested and squeezed
  1. Blend in a food processor.
  2. Roll into balls and dip into coconut.
  3. Store in the refrigerator.

massaged kale and tahini salad

Kale Caesar Salad

  • Bunch of kale
  • 3 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 3 tbsp tahini
  • minced garlic
  • hemp seeds avocado

Mix vinegar, tahini and garlic and massage into kale.  Top with avocados and vegetables of choice.



Super Cacao Smoothie

  • 2 cups almond milk
  • frozen banana
  • 1 tsp raw cacao powder
  • 1 tsp raw cacao nibs
  • 1 tbsp raw almond butter
  • 1/2 tsp maca
  • sprinkle pink sea salt
  • raw agave or medjool dates to sweeten
