December Fit Focus: Week 2+3

I am back from Japan and more enamoured with Japanese food and culture than ever. IMG_5802

Before I left for Japan I did a great job of keeping up with my workouts and healthy eats.

With my travels (more details soon!) I did as any good traveler and tasted as much as possible.

I ate beautiful Japanese feasts, drank sake and plum wine, dug into incredible wagashi sweets and sipped endless bowls of matcha.


The Japanese diet is so varied and healthy that I left feeling even better than before.  I am inspired to add more variety into my diet, and to load up on nutrient rich foods on every meal.  I also loved drinking green tea all day!

I'm looking forward to getting back on track with workouts this week, sneaking in as much walking as I can and incorporating some Japanese style eats.

I've decided to stop meal planning as I prefer to eat intuitively and to find variety as I go, but I will be keeping track on MyFitnessPal and my diary here.

The journey continues - off for an early morning workout!
