fitness is a journey...

But in the past couple of years I fell in love with the weight room. After experimenting with various forms of fitness I got tired of workouts designed for women to get "toned" and wanted to feel and look stronger. So I started picking up heavy things. I love feeling and seeing my body get stronger, and understanding the science and functions behind it. I competed in my first bikini competition in 2016, and started working with the strength and conditioning coaches at the Alpha Project in 2017. These days I aim to be a strong athlete overall and combine endurance, power and hypertrophy training.

I have spent the majority of my life packing and unpacking suitcases.

I have lived in Vancouver, Toronto, Northern Ireland, Paris, Berlin, the South of France, and now Carmel, California.

As a travel writer I have had the opportunity to visit Japan twice and have a soft spot for seaweed at breakfast and midday matcha.

I still have so much to see and taste.
